Dowry Distribution
ASF provides support for marriages of girls from impoverished families who cannot afford the marriage expenses.
The support includes provision of
• Prayer Mat
• Holy Quran
• Sewing Machine
• Dinner Set
• Double bed plus bed sheet
• Covering cloaks
• Suit Case
• Suits for bride and groom
• Pedestal fan
• Utensils as well as the ceremony expenses.
Priority is given to orphans and the very poor. The estimated cost to support a marriage is Rs. 150,000 to Rs 175,000.
